We are very excited to announce that we have Roxana and Ross joining the office! Its great to have them on board and welcome them to Ashworth Parkes Architects. Read some more about them both below!
.
Roxana joined APA in 2024 after working with several award-winning practices in London and Birmingham on bespoke residential projects. She qualified as an architect in 2023 after completing her part 3 postgraduate studies in architecture at the University of Cambridge and her master’s degree with distinction at the University of Nottingham, where her sustainable residential design project was also nominated for the prestigious RIBA President’s Silver Medal.
In addition to her architectural work, Roxana has taught first-year architecture students at the University of Nottingham and continues to volunteer as a mentor for young women in architecture. She used to jump from planes as a skydiving trainee but now enjoys the more grounded pleasures of experimenting in her small but ever-growing garden.
.
Ross is an architect with an interest in natural materials and low energy design, previously working at architectural practices in Cambridge and London.
He studied Civil Engineering and Architecture in South Africa, and completed a Masters of Architecture at the London School of Architecture with a particular interest in Rammed Earth Construction. He graduated as an Architect in 2024, completing his Part 3 at the University of Westminster.
Outside the office, Ross enjoys rowing, and hosting barbecues.
