North House

A full retrofit in the centre of Cambridge
Project Goal
A deep retrofit of an existing 1960’s era three-storey terraced house on a site that has wide views over common land in Cambridge and the River Cam. The clients wanted to express their individual style and and so the colours of the house, both inside and out, respond to the changing tones of the landscape.
Sustainability
The retrofit of the scheme includes an air source heat pump, MVHR system and triple glazing achieving a high level of air tightness. Additional PV cells and efficient battery storage have also been provided.
