A small studio and shed that sits at the end of the garden of the Orchard House project. The space gives the client, an art teacher and printmaker, enough room to teach small groups of students as well as providing a private space for her own practice. A large picture window frames a view through the garden to the main house, the angular plan chiming with the forms of the remodelled extension.
The interior walls are lined with cork, a thermally efficient, regenerative and sustainable material that can be used as a continuous pinboard.
